Welcoming

Well it’s certainly been awhile since writing a blog post. I think life got in the way, and maybe I didn’t have anything more to say. But it’s a new year, a new month, a new week, and I’m in my new studio! I’ve been working out this space, how I want to use it, what I want it to look and feel like, and how it might be a place of calm, creative inspiration that I can share with others. It’s still a work in progress, as it may always be, but it’s also become not only my own happy place for my work, but also a place to teach, share experiences, host private parties, and offer open studio tour market events. My students have become dear friends and I love not only painting alongside them, but getting to know them over a cup of tea while we create something beautiful together.
